Established in 2003, we are located on the Vermont border where the Taconic & Green Mountains meet on 185 acres.
This fertile area along the Battenkill River provides us with plenty of rolling pastures, great cropland, and woodlands.
We are a 100% chemical free operation, all locally grown non-GMO and organic grains. I did not get certified early on after I was less than impressed with the hoops you needed to jump through and the quality of commercial organic feed. Organic is not the end all. To each his own. Each ingredient is what makes the whole and I knew we could do it better. Species specific herbs, spices and probiotics have enabled us to create the best feed we could use. That and always crystal clear water from our wells. Always.
We believe in raising healthy animals on the farm for their entire life cycle.
All our livestock are born and raised on the farm.
This eliminates any chance of disease being brought in, and allows us to never have to use drugs or medications.
